Who We Are
Peter Morrell, DO
Dr. Peter J. Morrell is a lifelong native of Southeast Texas. After graduating from Port Neches-Groves High School, Dr. Morrell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He then went on to graduate from medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Following medical school, Dr. Morrell finished Dermatology Residency and a Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Morrell is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology with an added qualification in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He is a member of several notable groups including: American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Mohs Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association and the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Morrell is active in the community and is a committed husband and father. He and his family are registered members of Regina Caeli Parish with the Fraternity of Saint Peter in Houston as well as St. Anne's in Beaumont. In addition, they commonly attend the Traditional Latin Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes and actively support the Catholic Church throughout the Diocese.
Elyse Brack, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Elyse Brack was born and raised in Zelienople, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. After graduating from Seneca Valley High School, Elyse went on to study at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Health Science. In 2012, Elyse completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Sciences from Saint Francis University.
Elyse is a Board Certified Physician Assistant by the NCCPA and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Lauren Schaeffer, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Lauren Schaeffer was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. After graduating from West Brook High School, she attended Lamar State University where she obtained a degree as a Registered Nurse. She has worked in dermatology for Dr. Morrell since 2017.

After becoming a registered nurse, she proceeded to obtain her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Dermatology Nurses' Association.
